Voggle

Voggle is a speech interactive game that tests the user’s ability to create simple words from a matrix of alphabets within a specified time. Voggle uses the interactivity of a speech-based interface to make a traditional game more fun and engaging.

Possible Advantages in playing speech recognition game:

Accurate, Fun, Easy 

Possible Disadvantages in playing speech recognition game:

Accent Issues, Delay in response, Words with similar sounds gets confused.

 

Game Rules: 

  • Can only create a 3 or 4 letter correct words from a given set of sixteen letters in a matrix .

  • A valid word can only be formed if each letter is contiguous (i.e. side-by-side, above or below, or on the diagonal) with the next, and no letter position can be used more than once in any given word.

  • Timer runs immediately as the game starts & the game ends as the timer stops.

  • No two letters should be used repeatedly while making a word  ex: Sister & Sisters (letter S should be used only once)

  • Each words meaning is given with reference to Dictionary.com

 Scoring : 

  • Three or Four letter words  - 3 points

  • Five letter words - 4 points

  • One additional point for every additional letter above five letter words

  • Bonus points will be given for rare and ultra rare words
